Breathwork is a beautiful healing technique and active form of meditation. It is anchored in the yogi tradition of pranayama, which means “the practice of regulating our breath”. This 3-stage pranayama helps us to get out of our heads and right into our bodies.

And we need that because we live in such a ‘head’ world. Our minds are always active, trying to keep up with the many stressors and must-do’s of the modern world. But it’s in our bodies where we find the answers to our life and where we store so many unprocessed emotions, trauma and stress.

Often when we feel stuck, tired, anxious or stressed, we don’t know how to release all of that negative energy. We are so disconnected from our bodies that it can be uncomfortable and challenging to access these deeper layers of ourselves. Breathwork provides a way to do this in a gentle and safe way.

It also offers a space to dive deep within yourself, feel your body again, calm down your mind, reconnect to your deeper desires for life and heal any physical and mental/emotional issues.

Here are 3 ways to practice breathwork with me!

 

1:1 breathwork sessions | EUR299

These sessions are a 2-hr deep dive of breathwork and coaching combined (online or in person), so you will get the most out of your experience and we can go deeper into your personal situation, needs and desires. We start with a deep chat about what's going on for you and what your intentions for the session are. I will help you gain more clarity on the background and deeper layers of your struggles and we prepare you for breathing. Then I will guide you through a deep healing breathwork practice, customized to your needs. Afterwards, we will talk through your experience, what came up and I will help you process and digest all of this. We will also define some action points for you and how to integrate your learnings in your daily life.

 

 

Online New Moon Breathwork (monthly) | EUR25

The New Moon is a time to go within in, be introspective and set intentions for the new cycle to come. These 75-minute sessions are a safe space for you to reconnect with yourself and use the moon’s energy and your own breath to grow and heal. Release stress and anxiety and heal any physical or emotional pain. You will leave feeling connected, open, grounded and with appreciation for your fellow participants and how we are all finding our way in the world. This is for those who don’t live in the same country as me and still want to practice.

 

 

Breathe at Baraza (Yoga Studio in Lisbon) | EUR25

This is your chance to practice breathwork in a group and in person with me. These sessions are hosted twice a month on Friday evenings or Sunday mornings (alternating) at Baraza Yoga, the yoga studio where I teach yoga in Lisbon. These sessions are a great place to calm your mind, reconnect with your body and develop a deep sense of presence using the breath. Release old, stagnant energy and emotions whilst cultivating the awareness to improve both physical and mental health. Baraza offers their beautiful studio to share this experience and connect with other likeminded people.
